How in tune you are with the world we live in? Show us how you connect with Mother Earth through your photographs!
From the healthy food on our table to the clean air we breathe, all those necessary to our survival are provided by nature. These are so essential to our day-to-day living that we often pay little attention and take their presence and abundance for granted. For this competition, we encourage you to reconnect with the earth and showcase this mindful appreciation through your photographs. Here are some ideas to get you started:
- Track the Terrain: Do you always yearn to be by the sea or do you feel more alive when on top of the summit? Take a portrait on these scenic places as a reminder of what you love most about them.
- Flora and Fauna: We share this planet with countless fascinating animals and plants — how do you contribute in making sure they get their rightful space? Highlight what makes them uniquely beautiful and worth preserving.
- In My Neighborhood: If you're living in urban sprawl, nature can provide solace from the hustle and bustle. Focus on those few green spaces and what it does to your spirit and mind weary from your everyday grind.
Each participant may submit up to 10 photographs. This competition serves as the qualifying round for the Off the Grid category of our TEN AND ONE Annual Lomography Photo Awards 2019.
