Lomography x The National Portrait Gallery Yevonde: Life and Colour

In celebration of Yevonde: Life and Colour Exhibition at The National Portrait Gallery, we've teamed up with them to offer you the chance to win some prizes!

The National Portrait Gallery recently re-opened its doors to the world after it closed for refurbishment in 2020. We are thrilled that they are now back and have a new exhibition titled Yevonde: Life And Colour, which is part of the Reframing Narratives: Women in Portraiture project which highlights women represented in the Gallery’s Collection.

Yevonde was a fashion and portrait photographer from the 1930s who was one of the first to really embrace color photography, using the early Vivex color process in her work.

In celebration of the life and work of Yevonde, we have teamed up with The National Portrait Gallery to offer you some very special prizes, including gallery membership, the exhibition book, and a Diana F+.

For this competition, we would like you to submit up to 10 of your best analogue photographs taken with any film (or digital photos taken with any Lomography Art Lens) with the theme Life And Colour. Each picture must indicate the camera, film or lens you used. This competition is open to UK-based submissions only and closes on October 5th. Good luck!
